ahhh, I viewed the posts made by you, and the link URL is listed, so i used that. can see the box now! I dont think this would work on mine because I dont have the round plug-like connector :(

**just seen your ebay link, loosk like they do a box for both types of pump, im going to have to seriously consider buying one of these if you say they are that good!

hi mate well on my car i can now leave it i 4th down to around 1300rpm and pull away i can get in to 5th so much quicker.

it sounds amazing, but i dont understand how it works!

its like a major tune up in a box, perhaps? I know you have had it a little while now, have you noticed any negatives yet? if its all positive, im going to have to buy one because I feel mine is a bit down on power etc, but i dont know why, so perhaps this box cures any fuel injection issues?

that's because it's telling the ecu there's more air going in, so the ecu is sending more fuel in. not good.

when i was reading about it, I think it says it doesnt interfere with the ecu in anyway, is this correct?

Pins 2&3 on the IP are the positional feedback to the ECU for the control sleeve.

The ECU increases the fuelling amount and then looks to the positional feedback for confirmation of this.

So... if you modify the fuelling feedback the ECU will ask for more fuel based on the fact that the feedback from the pump has been altered by the "box".

What you mean it's not good?

beat me to it;)

I cant see the problem myself, car has more grunt, goes better and ultimately uses less fuel :nenau

The electronics of the box stage the overfuelling so its not like one of those solder in single resistors. Mst of the boxes are also adjustable so you can get it right for your individual engine.

hmmm, so could this gizmo e combined with the Tunit box that cheats the Maf signal? :naughty

The rudiments of it are:
If you increase the MAF o/p marginally, then the mapping within the ECU will provide additional fuelling. But only within the stock map limits.

Coupled with a similar scenario on the Tunit type boxes that do a very similar kluge on the fuelling feedback from the ip...

Might have some gain?... but just how much fuel&air can you chuck in before it all goes pete tong? Or is that where you are heading?
AND you are adding LPG to the mix too!!!!!!!!!!!!!
