Have fun Rick. The flat roof ain't going nowhere :thumb2

It's gonna be perfect weather for as long as you need Rick, no worries :thumbs
Give it some stick fella :D

Well folks had a good day, found some mud, not hard at the Wood, got 11 picys for you to wet your lips on, have to say comments were, everybody is getting stuck today, I forget how many we pulled out and although we got stuck we always freed ourselves, not too impressed with the tyres, they tended to float on the wet skin of mud on the hard layer below, whereas my skinnies would bite, many times I thought I could manage in 2 wheel but not to be, almost all the time in 4, this pic is where we are headed

This guy cannot go forward, he tried many times, so decided to winch himself to the left and broke his cable, so negotiated past him and winched him out, no pics of that as Sarah could not get out,

This guy came up behind us and said he was fine so we went on but he came after us for a hand as his winch packed up, just as well as he was using wire and put it round a tree bringing the hook back to the wire and 6ft up the trunk:doh

almost there, so yes a good day, we pulled at least two more out, but packed up early as had a call from the Steak House to say their walk in fridge was not keeping temperature and with thousands of £ meat in there needed to sort it, turned out to be a fan, soon sorted, really must install a back up system so when this happens in the future the can just turn it on, thanks for looking, have to say I am a bit shattered now, mud stomping is effing hard work, Rick

Nice one Rick, generous with your time as ever :thumb2
I'm revitalised with the Black Pearl myself and can't wait to get back the mire .
Have a good feet up snifter :D

Rick that looks fantastic, and extremely muddy, why did you even think bout 2 wheel drive

Cos with my 750 x 16's on I can get about quite well, and steering is bliss, with 4 wheel all the time I was at the mercy of where it wanted to take me, side bashed a couple of trees that I would not have done in 2 wheel, with my skinnies I have learnt to part steer with the throttle when in 4 wheel, but with these fat tyres it did not work so well, Rick

I see, it's good to know limits of 2 wheel drive also I suppose, or fun :D

I used to use a landrover 130 pick up years ago, the guy who owned it kept skinny tyres for bite as you said, I never got it stuck!!!
