Photography problem/question

IVE BEEN USING MY NEW CAMERA I GOT FOR MY BIRTHDAY ( FUJIFILM S1800 BRIDGE CAMERA ) . IT TAKES LOVELY SHARP PICTURES , BUT ANY PORTRAIT SHOTS I TAKE THE FACES ARE QUITE REDDISH ,... ANY IDEAS WHAT IM DOING WRONG ? ... IVE GOT IT SET ON AUTO UNTILL I WORK OUT THE MANUAL SETTINGS :nenau

i can alter the colour of the shots by the photoediting thingy , but if i print direct from the camera the faces are very red :nenau

you have a setting for portraits has a face when set that brings out natural colourings

Just ask them to sit still, dont slap them :nenau

If your fuji film is like mine somewhere in the settings there is a bit to set the type of picture you want to set. As i want to use it as a point and press job I have it set to auto. When Ive been farting around with different....aka wrong.....settings Ive managed to get the effect youre on about.

Briggie you haven't quite got the hang of this nude photograph have you.
It's your subjects that supposed to be nude not you...

It's the cold weather that doesn't help either.

Well I thought you should know better being the manuals man, if all else fails, read the instructions.:lol

if i was taking nude photos , i wouldnt be focusing on the faces :naughty , it seems that i have portrait mode on my settings , the photos i took with the red faces where on sp auto mode , thanks for all the advice , i will experiment further .... any female members wanna volunteer for still life ( nude ) photos ? :naughty:sly:lol
