Hi all, can anyone give me a guide as to the fuel line pressure on a KA24 T2 engine I have 25 psi, but have no idea if this is in the correct area, all I can say is the fuel pump in the tank is massif never seen one as big, so thinking big = high pressure, I am asking as my road going motor is not performing as it should and have tried most other things, I have the workshop manual but it does not mention the Petrol and I also have the KA24 engine manual but it misses the fuel system completely, Rick

no idea rick mate sorry , but will investigate

does this help ? dunno if its for a petrol or diesel tho , will keep checking :thumb2

sounds like a lift pump for a diesel, my in tank pump is about 75 mm diam and more than 150 long, as said never seen one as big, Rick

Interesting, it does not look like mine but 3 bar = 45 psi if that is what it should be then looks like my pump is well low on pressure, thanks Pete looks like I will have to look for the pump I removed from the scrapper and put in the BARN now you know what a task that is going to be, Rick

see ya next year sometime then , shall we send out a search party after a week ? :augie:lol:lol

Found it and fitted it this evening, test it tomorrow, Rick

wow !!!!! im impressed you found it :augie:thumb2

Yea I know, I had/have some brake tubing but could not find it so went and bought some more, and later found it under some other stuff on the bench, it is a combination of memory, and memoryr, see I have forgotten how to spelll memory, but at least black pig is still going, Rick
