Heres the latest mod to my Navara

Bought a Brodit and Navman Jacket from the Bay after getting fed up with the suction holder on the screen keep wobbling
Fitted this to the dash with self tappers behind the clock cowling so no visible holes when it comes out
Been off Geocaching today with it and its bloody perfect

Brodits are nice pieces of kit, we've got them in the terrano & X-trail for phone mounts.

For GPS/PDA's the other option is RAM mounts, they come with different mount options, I use a large 4 inch suction cup with a generic PDA mount with a Mitac Mio P350 for greenlaning, and it does the job fine, muc, much better than any out of the box options for GPS/PDA that I have seen. So much so that when I bought the PDA I bought the RAM PDA bracket at the same time, and it replaced the RAM Magellan 300 braket that I'd previosuly used. The original PDA suction mounting has never been out of the box.

Yep, definately well happy with the Brodit, not a vibration or rattle to be had and the other benefit of this setup is no more wires, I have reduced the wires on the dash by two with this addition, next up is the CB radio, need to find a nice cubby hole for that one so I can eliminate all wires on the dash
