Patrol y61 Oil Light

Hi all new to the forums so hi to all

I've got a Y61 2005(54) Patrol and a problem

The oil light came on on Saturday passed so stopped and checked the level
At the Max mark but a bit black and at the same time the service reminder was shown on the sat nav screen

Reset the service reminder turned the ignition on and the light went out

Had a filter in the garage and changed the oil did the filter and refilled it

Ran it up and the oil light was on again

So im thinking either a faulty pressure sensor or a faulty cable

Could someone Please tell me where the sensor is located and where would be the best place to get a replacement (dealers or Part-co )?????

Or any nissan suppliers that i dont know about

i think we had a Nissan parts man in the club, cant remember who it is though, but i think parts department thread or willow garage one might have him in it

I got my high pressure oil sensor from Harrets in Wakefield.They posted it to me.

Ask for Linda in Spares, really helpful, got a mechanic to give phone advice.

Just a update all .
I managed to remove the old oil pressure switch with a 3/4" ratchet and short extension with a 26mm socket on it .
Had bought a 26mm combi spanner with the intention of cutting it down to fit but managed to save my 26mm spanner
