Patrol radio fault

Whilst out in my troll the other day i lost all sound from my standard nissan stereo:nenau. All the functions on it work i.e finds radio stations cd player all seems to work fine just no sound. Has it died?. Any idea's?. Thanx

Sorted. added new earth wire to faulty back lights and surprise surprise it fixed radio too

Well radio has decided to give no sound again so checked all my lights they work fine still, also cleaned earth strap from battery to engine block and body but no joy. I haven't cleaned up the second battery terminals yet but dont believe this is the cause. HELP
