Does anybody know of any trusted Patrol parts websites?

I need a Patrol exhaust (SWB Section 3) and my normal go to places have nothing in stock. Normally I use Millner but this is the 2nd exhaust in 10 years that has completely rotten through, so I am trying to avoid them. With normal driving and not dipping it in salt water.

So far I have checked:

KS International
Halfords
Euro Car Parts
Autodoc.co.uk
Autojapspares.co.uk
Japanese 4x4 spares

It needs to be a place that does delivery as for obvious reasons I can’t collect it.

Thank you.

I would have suggested Japanese 4x4 spares but looks like you have tried them.
Banshee has a good rapport with them so maybe he can help you out:cool:

If you can weld then why not make your own in SS, you can buy mandrel bends online and all other parts that you need, I did mine in 3 inch and all the bits cost only a little more than a new exhaust, you do not even need to use SS wire, I did a full photo sequence from start to finish just search my threads for exhaust or similar, Rick

Thank you both.

I have thought about making my own but as I am not sure if I still have a job in two months I like to keep the costs down.

Edit: had a quick look online for parts to make an SS exhaust and they are indeed bot as expensive. Maybe I just make a new section 3 for the time being. Will need to have a look at sizes tomorrow. Of course I will also search for your thread. Thank you for the suggestion.

Ah did not work as planed, so do a search for that, I found it that way Rick

Your welding skills are well up you making an exhaust repair section. I avoid welding exhaust boxes if possible as they look good on the outside but are usually wafer thin from the inside and you end up chasing holes and most OE boxes are aluminised or galvanised which doesn’t help.

Never heard of Andrew Page but will give them a call, thanks.

No worries Wallace, if I make a new exhaust it will be made up out of new parts. Not attempting to repair the current section. It is the first bent in the exhaust that has rotten away completely, the box itself seems fine but a whole new section 3 will go in.
