Hello again,

I still have a starting problem with this patrol.

It was starting ok but has now started playing up again.

Today i went out to do a couple of jobs and started it up no problem, moved it to where i wanted it and switched it off, Did a couple of jobs, went in to the house had a cup of tea and a bit of dinner, went outside to carry on and id be blowed, had a very nearly flat battery.
So i put it on charge for about 6 hrs, Went to it after the charge and nothing but a clicking noise, sound if its coming from the relay box area on the right hand side next to the drivers side battery.

So is it a dodgy ignition switch, have the battery’s had it, could it be the Solenoid or starter motor.

(Thanks to the member who i rang tonight, But thought i would just ask in the forums too, as maybe someone has had this problem before and i will try what you suggested in the morning).

is it 24v and if so when you charge it with standard charger should it be one battery at time?

Hello Jace,

No, its 12 volt and yes i did charge one at a time as i only have one charger.

Do you know why a vehicle should have 2 battery’s and does it only start drawing from one battery? would I only take power from one battery?.

Mav.
