Hi all.
How do I change the passenger side front wheel bearing on my maverick 2.7td 1998 model?
How do I download a manual from here?

Cheers

click on quick links , top right hand corner, you,ll find it ;) the manual is for 96 onwards trucks but the wheel bearings are the same. Are you sure either needs changing ? They are adjustable, just done mine in fact.

Thanks for that.

Not sure if it needs replacing. When we is jacked up it has noticeable amount of play maybe a couple of mm movement.

Reason I looked is that im getting a deep knocking noise when I hit any small bump in the road, I thought a ball joint might have gone but they look ok?

Cheers:confused:

drop links on the anti roll bars, probably front.

rock the car side to side.

+1 for that, replace both ends if one's gone.
Or have a look at makeitfit's post about them......
You'll need an allen key (size 6?) to stop the top bolt turning (and also to get to the wheel bearings) and a spanner to stop the bottom bolt. Or a hacksaw......:augie
