i see loads of times on here to use a paperclip to get fault codes, how do you do it?

if yours is the recent newer type plug like mine, under the steering wheel area you will find the diagnostic plug.

Pop a paperclip in two of the pins (bottom left, and bottom right) bridging them together. Make sure they are firmly in place (should stay in there without holding)

then turn the ignition and watch the engine light flash.

5 slow flashes and 5 long flashes is 55 (for example)

this would indicate no fault :thumb2

Alex, not a good choice of numbers as which is the first five, etc

4 slow flashes and 6 long flashes, would this mean 46 OR 64 :nenau

Doesn't bother me... mine is the Td version.:thumb2

Yeah I guess so, so for example :augie

3 slow flashes and 4 fast flashes would be 34.

Slow = tens column
Fast = units column
