Paint Code

Anyone by chance know the paint code for the silver plastic panels?
fitted ours and now want to paint the bumpers the same colour.

Might be easier to get a bodyshop to do it as theyll need plastersizing for the paint to stay on i think
Could ya not find someone whos breaking 1 with em already coded

I dont know about the mav but if theyre the same colours as the terranos, Nissan may be able to help.

Our Nissan parts man has a colour combo chart. They get the paint code (only one) from the plate for the primary colour then look up on the chart the options that were offered and read off the code.

Sounds hit and miss but as the two options on mine were something or other oyster or silver its clear cut :thumb2

Today, fitted the plastic's yesterday after work and painted today, lucky the rain as held off.

you don't hang about do you! did you do any special prep? not sure what this plasticizer is that Adz mentioned?

Used plastic primer and 1000 wet & dry thats all, only plasticizer I have seen is not for the diyer, bit like 2 pak with the fumes & that.

Hi all,

I've taken my bumpers off to be sprayed up because of scuffs etc and i got the paint code from the plate under the bonnet it was a 3 figure number. the steelwork behind both bumpers was in need of some cleaning and re-painting with red-lead and any gloss paint i could find and the front bumper required some fabricatingas there were holes in the ends, should pick the bumpers up on wed.

So where is this code cus I just got a replacement for the Mav....A 1996 T2 in decent nic but wants a touch up in front bumper

The T2 colour code is on the Chassis Plate under the bonnet, about the size of a credit card.

yes there,s two 3fig No's one is for the colour code ie red/ivory as in my case and one for the trim.
