Overdrive?

Sorry for swearing,
but I went to the Landrover 4x4 show last wknd in Northampton, anyway,
while there, saw a overdrive unit that you could fit to rear of gearbox, reduced revs by 28% they said.
So basically giving you half gear in ever gear, forward and reverse.

They told me idea was copy from states that they use on big pick up trucks, so may be someone has done one for a T2 but not seen or heard of such a beast.
Has anyone ever seen one for T2's?

And has there been or is there just a Nissan off road event?

I think that's quite a drop in rev range:augie Might be bearable if you've upped the torque/power on your truck but otherwise no point on the T2 me thinks.
I don't think there's enough Nissans offroading to warrant a nissan only event:lol
Plenty of Japs out and about offroad but still not exclusive though.
Team Wales event last weekend was 8 Japs and one Disco (which duely broke down :lol )
