after waiting an age to get my profit share bonus at work I have finally ordered my new tyres.
finally settled on a set of Nankang mudstars.big in the states and really for the amount of use I will give them fit my budget perfectly. Also as an added bonus I had a 15% off anything on ebay voucher so I put it to good use.

supposed to be pretty tough and good off the road,or so say the reviews.
at less than 100 quid a corner with my voucher I am not complaining.
now the big question is what colour to do my wheels before I fit them.

Looking tasty indeed!

Not a bad price either

will I see these when I visit?

don't know if they will be fitted by then.
got to do the uprated steering mod before they go on.
away on holiday next week but the tyres will be here by Friday.
then I have got to get my wheels shotblasted and re painted as they are a bit tatty.
going for a metallic anthracite grey finish on them.:thumb2

been running a few colour samples today at work for my wheels.
I had originally intended on doing them the colour on the left but after running a few others I am not so sure.

might go for the one on the right.

When it comes to wheel colours I prefer lighter ie white/silver so do not like the left hand choice but the other 2 look a lot better to me.

Kind regards

Russell.

they are tatty black at the mo.might do them black with a glitter lacquer.:nenau

Too light mate.
Going for the one on the right.darkens down when lacquered and looks spot on.

New boots arrived today:thumb2

Will be eagerly watching this!!!

Do you spray wheels then?

How much for a set of Maverick 15" Alloys to be sprayed in that end left dark grey?

Thats the one im going for.one on the left looks cheap and nasty.
Banshee,we dont do much for the public as its an in house plant for our engineering shop.i do the odd job on the side.

You be getting a spanking if your lady finds out your on the forum while your away you will:lol

trial fitted the 33's last night.after all the toing and frowing with colours I decided to stick with gloss black for the rims:thumb2

could do with a bit more trimming at the front end to help with clearance on full lock.
