one problem or many?

dont know if its all interlinked but....

my fob has never worked, though it was central locking but only flickers the indicators, changed the battery and since then when i unlock the car the hazards flash until i turn the ignition on!

now theres also a problem that half the time when i start her up she stalls and the engine light flashes.

if i switch off for a few seconds and on again it starts fine.

anyone know how to fix these? is it several probs or one? was hoping it was central locking as with only one keyhole it would be better......and also great if engine ran ok:doh

I'd get the fault codes 1st so we can see what's up.
There's a thread or two on here about re programing the key fob

agreed, there is a fault code stored wether the light is on or not, and it might help point you in the right direction.:thumbs

Yep mine is same if unlocked with keys. You get the alarm going too? If not horn has been cut


Codes would be good, all in downlowd section just need a paperclip and be able to count
