Im still having this juddering problem, on accerleration. Its around 1,500 rpm when the truck is under load. If i floor it it reduces it a little but you can still feel it. So what have i done so far. Replaced all the filters, replaced all the oils, cleaned the MAF (That made a big imporvment) used 4 bottles of diesel treatment and now im stuck, i am going to bypass the EGR at some point, i was intending this weekend, but not had time.

So guys, whats the next step?

:confused::confused:

clutch.

worn clutch will judder under load, or a componant of the clutch such as the bearing perhaps.

other things to consider are splits in pipes such as the air flow. Doing the EGR is almost certainly a first port of call, if anything just blank off one end first and see if that makes a difference, takes 2 mins.

When i say "Under load" im onlu talking about going up hill at low revs, not pulling anything. cluthc is ok as i have teased that out, i really think its a fuel to air problem, but just dont know where.

When you say the EGR is a 2 min job, what is it im looking for to blank for, where is it located, had a look yesterday, but was unsure what pipe it was so left it for now.

Some of the early TDi's had the mini filter, see the downloads section and search for the mini filter.
