Push stick forward to engage 4WD

Get to work

Pull stick back to disegage

No drive

So I guess I am in neutral , but how do I go from neutral to 2WD ?

so when I am in 4H i need to push the stick forward ? to get to 2H ?

When in 4H you move the stick forward.

If your in 4L by accident, you push down and move forward through N and then in to 4H, then just push forward one more notch. You should only go in and out of 4L whilst stood still and main gear in N.

It was me not reversing back far enough to disengage.

I gotta get the Diff oil done , not sure it works very well

Thanks for your help all

PS Transport Manager crashed his Merc on the way in @ 4.30am , recovery are on the way from about 60 miles away.(LOL)

if you pull the drivers side sun visor down it will tell all about the 4wd system

dont need to reverse, its only frees the auto hubs which will relaease anyway sooner or
later.

2hi-4hi-neutral-4lo, 2-4 is pull back/push forward. you'll need to push lever down slightly
to pass thru neutral and better done stationary with clutch depressed.

however2 -4 hi can be done on move certainly upto 25mph/40kmh. without depressing
clutch...shift on the fly as our yank cousins call it.

i wouldnt reverse for hubs, as you might need it again and there done ready, but if
not they'll come out. after all in 2 hi theres no link from box to wheels, though front
diff will turn and prop upto dog clutch of box(transfer).
