I've got an oil pressure and an oil temp gauge to fit:augie
Can I connect to these points on the oil filter ?

Both fittings I've got screw into the engine/oil filter.
Is this spade terminal meant to be connected to something by the way?

Remove the 1 with the spade on

In the gauge box,you should have replacement fixings & a flexy copper tube.
Put the new fixing in where the old 1 was, connect the copper pipe, job done :thumbs

Yes there should be a wire coming off it to give you temperature reading.?

So do you reckon I could use that then for the oil temp gauge?

you can buy a fitting to fit in sump drain hole for oil temp gauge, as far as i know oil temp is taken from sump. :thumb2

Would need to see the backs of the gauges & the fittings youve got
I havent seen what tezzers said before
When ever ive fitted or seen temp gauges fitted, its always off the block...
But
I could be wrong...

Seems like an iffy idea for off road:augie
The gauge is electronic so needs the cable to run under the engine:augie
Probably try and make that fit on the block though:thumbs

Havent seen that before

Words of caution.!

If the pipe gets pulled out ? oil will find its way out.!
Ya go off road & something will snag & pull the pipe out.!

Go out the block, its safer & proven/tested :thumbs

or use an electric oil press gauge

Both temp and pressure gauges are electronic:D
There's an alen key blank screwed in to the left of that spade terminal. So I was hoping to find the right fitting to go in there.:augie
