oil filter help

Whats the best way to get to the oil filter on a 2.4 petrol maverick. It seems really hidden away and my fat hands cant get to it.

on the TDi through the wheel arch..


but ive never seen under the 2.4i.. but just a thought

i tried that way but the steering gear got in the way. In the end i took the battery out and went through the top. Job done. Thanks for the advice though...

ah well, ill have to have a look under a 2.4 some time
