Oil Change

Hi,
Can anyone remember which grade oil and the quantity required for an engine oil change in a 2.7 95 Mav.
Any recommendations greatly received.

6 plus litres of decent quality semi synthetic oil will see you right. I used 10w40

Last week I used Castrol GTX part synthetic, 10/40. And a Fram filter.:thumb2

I normally use GTX 10/40 standard mineral, but the part synthetic was on offer in 2 litre containers in Tesco about 4 months ago. I bought 4x2 litres and still have 1.5 litres left. I can never get the full amount in, that the book recommends, so I always go by the Dip stick.
Nearly 6 litres come out plus what's in the oil filter.

I didn't want to use fully synthetic as it has never had that before.
