Badge engineering :)

Nothing wrong with the Dacia Duster though, you get a lot of car for your money. I just hope they'll launch the South-American models in Europe (2.0l petrol engine), as well as the Oroch pickup.

About the most successful export product for Romania, and in my opinion the thing that saved Renault.

I really like the look of the pickup...

I have seen a few Dusters now, and in the darker colours, they look pretty smart. For some reason, they look a lot different, depending on the colour, and the White ones are not so good.

Just need to see some coming up second hand, that are within my budget, so I can give one a try.

Very popular over here...of course.......but as you say a lot of car for your money.

They are supposed to be more than adequate off road....not in extreme stuff I imagine, but you would have a specialist machine for that anyway.

Winter motoring would be relatively relaxing....and...........you have a petrol engine, instead of the increasingly demonised diesel.......

I like diesels, but I think we will all eventually have to bow to the inevitable, and this car seems a bit of a way forward.

I do like the pick up..mmmH!

It's a Renault with a Nissan badge on it:doh loads of Dacia Duster around here & have to say I hate the look of them. They are cheap to buy compared to others but it'll be interesting to see if they hold any value when they start hitting the second hand market:augie

They've had a lot of problems with the Dacias, getting visible rust on wheel arches before they've even managed to get them off the forecourt!

They're cheap for a reason, don't forget:

"If it looks too good to be true, it probably is!"

:doh

:eek:wonder if Land Rover helped build them then:lol:lol:lol we used to get brand new 90's/110's into the bodyshop to sort out flaking paint, rust & dents:eek:

You know what they say about Land Rovers...

They started building them in 1947 and haven't improved the build quality since!

:lol:lol:lol:lol:lol
