Offroad/winch bumpers

Hi folks, as I'm wanting to fit offroad bumpers front and rear within the next 12 months I've been checking up the legalities and just want to check if I've got it right when it comes to the front!

So basically (I'm talking about the front bumper here) if there's a winch mounted in it then offroad bumpers are perfectly legal as they're classed as equipment rather than Frontal Protection, is that correct?

Guess I'll be fitting a winch for next year's tour after all...

yes & they have also put exemptions in place on mot standards to accommodate for vehicle modified for a specific purpose :thumb2
