Off roading in Welsh Forests?

Many years ago, I was staying in Wales, and while out for a drive I found a company that in conjunction with the forestry commission were doing PnP on the tracks in the woods. It was a great day, and they had some great little touches, like making it a very light orienteering expedition, and they had signs and things hidden in the tree's for the passengers to keep an eye out for as well.

To be honest, for a road legal 4x4, it was a blast, but I can't remember what they were called, or exactly where they were.

I am off in the caravan to Anglesey for Christmas and New Year, and would like to do something like that with the T2, anyone know of anything like that around Mid to North Wales?

Sounds like a plan! I am in the Wyre Forest area over Christmas and the new year so if you find anything out let me know as it may be the same in that area! :thumb2

Not sure but down aberystwyth area the FC is pretty anti 4x4.
