OEM Part Numbers

Hi there,

Thank you very much to all of you forum contributors for sharing your knowledge and experience. I am still a Maverick learner but so far have been able to rectify the LSD (oil changed to Comma LS80W-90) and the auto-hubs (stripped and regreased) with your help.
I have been to my local Ford dealer for genuine spares but they no longer provide the Thermostat (not on their system).
Now I am puzzled. I know that the engine is a 1995 Nissan KA24E but how can I get the genuine part from Nissan if my VIN number is from Ford?
Aftermarket spares lists are very unreliable and confusing, better buy the genuine part.
What is the Nissan UK part number for the 76.5 C thermostat for my engine?
Any help will be much appreciated.

i assume you want oem parts for a reason??

Redish - just remember the Maverick is nothing more than a Nissan wth a Ford badge and a few cosmetic differences, e.g. the grille, so for all mechanical parts you should be fine ordering the Terrano part.....
