Just got a Terrano 2 2001 Y reg with the digital odometer. The rev counter, fuel gauge and temp gauge work fine but the speedo, outside temp, clock and trip meter don't work, the milage is stuck on 89001. After reading a few posts on here i tried dissconnecting the battery and everything started working again. The miles went back to 88999 and i thougt i had fixed it but as soon as the odometer reached 89001 it all went off again (not rev counter and fuel/temp gauges) Tried it a couple more times and same thing as soon as it reaches 89001 miles! How straight forward is it taking clocks out to check the connections on the back?

Clockk out, yes i did say clock?

Piece of cake mate took mine out yesterday to put some new bulbs in took about 10 min,s :thumbs

What's the "PCB" that someone mentions resoldering in another thread and where will i find it?

Printed circuit board. But not sure what can be done there - this is a common problem with the digital dashes and if you want to preserve the vehicles value, if you can't fix it you need to get it refurbed or replaced, but fitted by a garage who can stamp your service record accordingly, otherwise people will query a new clock reading from zero miles again...

I'm going to do a quick guide for this. Just fixing mine now. Used to fix tv's and washer pcb units. And is a similar issue.
