NON starter HELP!!!!

This morning my 2.4 Petrol Mav started first turn of the key and ran perfect. After work I got back in and it would not start. The engine was turning but not firing up, also the engine managment light was flashing constantly while i was turning over the engine. eventually it did start but was misfiring and splutering all the way home
can anyone shed any light, I rekon its damp but i just wanna check.

could be fuel pump or sparks (as you say, damp in the electrics).

my old prelude used to do something similar. After warmed up, if I stopped the engine, I couldnt restart it untill after about 2 mins, that was a fuel pump issue.

Think I will try the easy option first and WD40 all the electric bits and see what happens. Just took it for a run and it wasn't too bad. Thanks for the advice chaps:thumbs

If its petrol try starting in the dark. You can see all the arcing to earth much easier. David.
