Just back from 30 minutes with Nurse Pretty, made a date for next week @ 8.30.

Seems I have the beginnings of arthritis in the left knee and my arches are a bit flat. Told me I'm too young to get a new knee but if I go on the waiting list will probably be old enough by the time I get to the top of the queue.

Ah, the joys of the Irish health service. Still she did cheer me up by saying I'm too young at 52, that made my day.
