No drive to the front wheels?

I just noticed that while in 4x4 mode the front wheels are not driving. A while ago the was a bang from the front of the car but no other symptoms are evident. Can anyone suggest where to start looking for the problem.

Hello mate, probably very likely to be automatic hubs, these engage the drive to the front wheels, the snap or brake rings as they are known have broken!!

sorry meant to say they probably have broken but i'd defiantly take a look at the hubs

call milner off road get a set of AVM manual hubs, fit them and forget them, in my opinion, don't waste money on more brake (often incorrectly reffered too as snap) rings!
