no 4x4 ?

snow in stoke went out this morning put it in 4x4 drove off. i drove in to town a couple of miles then when i got to a hill i could not get up as the 4x4 not working only the rear wheels were driving tried everything back to 2H reaversed back then in to 4H and 4L nothing looked under neath when moving front prop is turning but no drive to front wheels any ideas ?

yes, do you have auto, or manual hubs?

if auto, strip and clean, if manual, check they are enagaged and if so, strip and clean.

sounds like its not engaging the front wheels...

just hit the hubs with rubber mallet and they engaged, thanks for your help will give them a clean when the snow clears
