:doh
The crappy Nissan steering mechanism got right up my chuff today:doh
I rebuilt the whole front end again this week and was full of hope this morning
However by lunch time those ruddy track rod ends were up to their tricks again
I had so much movement in the drag link that the nuts were catching on the underside of the chassis:doh
So now I'm going to make my own:sly
Going for a new stainless rod instead of the drag link. Then make a ruddy great swivel to bolt it directly onto the steering box arm. At the end of the swivel(imagine a long bolt) I'll stick a rose joint and then the track rod from that to the wheel hub using my Massey Ferguson monster track rod end:thumbs
Duplicat on the other side and bobs your fanny's aunt
That'll get rid of 4 ball joints and keep the wheels pointing where I want them.
I hope:naughty
