That was one of my all time favourite Thunderbird episodes.. I always wondered why they did not have something like that for real.:thumb2

Now I know I am lucky enough to have the old stronger cast rear axle, but at 350 ton, and probably at least 50 of that on the front wheels, that must have a good rear axle. Then there is the best case 150MPH landing speed of a 747... :doh

What a Truck... Alex will be out getting one next...:lol

I am not convinced by Mr Nissan's advert... good try though...:lol

Can't see it at work as YouTube is blocked but if it's the one where the plane comes in to land on the runway and the wheel doesn't come down and the Nissan catches the front of the plane then it was a hoax :lol

Yeah fake, you see the suspension bounce at the end when he stops :augie

It does actually say "fictionalization. Do not attempt" in the bottom right of the screen right at the beginning.

Still pretty good video editing though.

Who remembers the planes name in Thunderbirds?
Answer below...

But who remembers the name of the guy that looks like Dominic on "Fake Briain" who planted the bomb in the undercarriage?
The _ _ _ _

Aeroplane was called Fireflash...:thumb2

I knew the name of the plane, but had to look up the name of the villain... it was one of those.... "Of course" moments when I found it.

You are right....:clap

The resemblance is uncanny, great pics thanks.:thumb2

To think that fireflash preceded concorde, Gerry Anderson was quite inventive.

Actually I used to like Joe 90, he used to have "apps" as brain memory implants, to learn the skills of experts.
I wonder if he had one for driving 4x4's lol or using a spanner...
Now who do we know could do with that one...? :lol
