Nissan Patrol Outside the House

Picked up the 2004 Nissan Patrol yesterday agreed to buy it after almost an hour inspection pretending I knew what I was looking for. It had several cosmetic issues and an advisory on the MOT that highlighted some corrosion on a front spring. The drive back to Cardiff about 150 miles was great-did not stop smiling. Intention now is to get it on a ramp with a good mechanic to check everything out and to draw up a list of priorities. I have two ambitions a drive up to the Lofoten Islands which are just inside the Article Circle and a trip probably with some motorbike friend to Morocco. Not got my hands dirty for a long time or thought about anything mechanical. Looking forward to the challenges
