New tyre supplier

Hi guys,
i'd like to let you all know about a new litte venture I have set up... I NOW SUPPLY 4X4 TYRES!

You may or may not already know I have a small classic car parts business and have now extended our range to include tyres.

Recently I was badly in need of a set of mud pluggers for the Cherokee, and I was horrified to see there are few suppliers (if any) in my area that specialise in off road tyres and also the cost of tyres from ATS/QUICKFIT/BUDGET etc clearly leaving a gap in the market. Being one to fill a gap I now have trade accounts set up and in the process of being set up.

As with the new parts I sell, my over heads are very low so are able to pass on discounts to my customers.

Until I am properly set up I wont be able to say which manufacturers I can supply, but I do know I can supply all of your usual stuff such as BF GOODRICH, GOODYEAR, COOPER, MICHELIN, KUMHO and can also supply the complete range of budget KINGPIN range.

Wouldn't local fitters get a bit sh!77y if you don't buy them of them?

They will only get $hity if they have quoted you a price & then you turn up with the tyres :augie :lol
As 1 of my friends did :doh when he knows i could of done it for him

I'm lucky as i can use me mates tyre machine so fitting is never an issue

I just track down the cheapest tyre deal to my door

I think the price for the tyres is good as I recently paid £60.00 each for two chinese tyres (Nang King) so £165.00 for four is very good. Assuming they are street legal, or have I missed something here?

this guy seems a bit of a sniffer adz, probably on the white stuff, and i reckon that tyre has been on and off a few time as well, take it from me they don't break that easily.

i had one mate and I'll tell you they are bl**dy hard work, and the bead breaker will bend, i made a new one for mine from heavy angle which worked OK but still hard work especially if you 4-5 to change. :doh

Ya wouldnt for example get a BFG off that easy as the rubber is so bloody hard :augie

& that tyre was well soft :augie

would you be able to fit the tyres or just bring them in

looking for 265 75 16 a set that i ok for mud and snow and road i liked the Kingpin Technic Tracker II if you can get them was 1 on the rear of the mav :thumbs

I have just had a read online regarding retreads, as I had some safety concerns, and it seems as if they are approved in both Europe and the US and regarded as being a safe, green and economic solution to tyre buying.

This is makes them more interesting.

Remoulds are fine :thumbs

Its re-treads as used on the rear axles of lorrys that are dodgy but cheap hense why commonly used on tippers & trailers as you can on average buy 4 retreads for the price of 1 new tyre :thumbs

Nothing wrong with remoulds, it amazes me how fashion concious people are though.
EG, Insa Turbo/Bronco/Fedima/Kingpin/Recip, etc etc etc, all remoulds, all the same thing, ie. copies of something two or three times the price, but even their prices vary greatly. I've just bought a pair of Kingpin tracker Mud Terrain. Won't say exactly how much for but they were £20 cheaper each than Bronco Rough Riders which are exactly the same thing !
Mucky mate you're not the cheapest but you're not far off . You'll never match the big sellers who buy in bulk unless you can make less profit to start with. Guess you already know that though. Tyre place round the corner reckons he makes more fitting tyres supplied by customers than the does supplying them himself ! He wanted £85 a corner for Insa Turbo Saharas !!
