New Truck problems

Ok, today was the first time iv had to look at the new truck.
I found a few things not right,
1st when the truck is parked facing up hill, it gets an oil leak out of the front diff, looks like its from the rear of the diff.
2nd the back windows dont seam to want to work, fort are ok, but nothing when you try the rear ones
and 3rd the digital display on the dash is all over the place, you wouldnt get a reading off it if you did brail.

So, any one had any of the above, before i start trying to work it out myself?:naughty
 
1. Front diff prop seal, drop diff, remove drive cup etc easy

2. Switch on centre arm rest/ box thing, bottom left as sat in drivers seat

3. It's fooked mines same, couldnt open it either as seamed sealed but didn't have a detailed look

I dont think its the switch as that also controld the passanger side and that works ok.

How simple is the prop seal to do ? does it all have to come out as i not done one of them yet.

Guess im not going to get the dispaly to work then, lol

Any way, how the hell are you, not seen you in a while.

piece of piss, few bolts on chassis, undo drive shafts and out she comes

might have to drop a ball joint off to get a shaft off to maneuver diff out, but i doubt it

been trying to sort my running/cutting out faults for last 3 months ish, so been spending every spare penny/moment on that.

Egr was sticking (blanked) maf was fooked so over fuelling and smoking (replaced) intercooler cracked (will get re-cored i think)

How are you mate ?

Doing ok matey, just trying to get my head round a new set of problems with this model, LOL
 
Kamsin,On my 2001 2.7, the digi read out on the dash would be ok some times but mostly, it was reading gobbledygook, what I did was to remove the dashboard and when I pressed the back of the instrument panel (white bit), the read out worked fine, all I did was to bulk out the back of the panel with bits of foam and when I screwed the clocks back in with the 4 screws, as it got tighter the digi part stayed on. My auto lecky mate says there are some dry solder joints in there
