What type of suspension does the new Navara have?

Is it the same as the new Pathfinder?

Ya, but I've no idea what model numbers are what!

Just hoping someone has a quick answer off the top of their head.

Sorry, best I could do for now, all I have on top of my head is skin

suspension difference

the nav d40 has independent front suspension like the pathfinder but
at rear nav is solid leaf suspension where as pf is independent.

I think pathfinders are coil sprung all round and New navaras (D40) are coils on front and leafs on back.

Many thanks folks.

Hopefully picking a Navara up at the weekend :)

Anyone wanna buy a mint 03 T2?

Advertise your terrano in the clubs members classifieds. may get some interest from it in there.
dont suppose its an automatic transmission???

as nn man will tell you d40 navaras eating clutches and subject to recalls on rear halfshafts if its second hand see if it falls into chasis numbers recalled and that works been done check out www.nissan-navara.net

Ya, I run my own business so I'll get all the tax cuts on it :)

Depends what you are gna use the Nav for.

D22 for a working pickup capable in many situations.

D40 for more of a road use vehicle

I love My D22 and it gets worked fairly hard and it loves it, The only thing I evny off the D40 is 6th gear for Motorway use.

I also envy jaces 3l TD engine as mine (2.5TDi) is prone to blowing up, If I had known this when I Bought it I would have gone for the 3l but there are mods you can do to the engine to give it back some life span. Although the bonnet scoop looks better on mine!

yep want bonnet scoop ust wondering about rain itll drag in most top engine is plastick so may get scrap uk bonnet

Own a bike shop and the Nav is more moving bikes around etc, so genuine commercial use, my accountant is looking into tax and stuff, should be fine though.

Getting a new shape so think only one engine choice.

Fuel comsumtion and the green  people, thats why they did away with the normally aspirated 4.2 diesel and they are thinking of discontinuing the Patrol all together over here :(

If we want the bigger engines soon we'll all be driving imports :? 8O

shame mine returns a good 30-35mpg even the way i drive it dare say if took it easy might do more i like big engines less stressfull do same speed lower revs
