done away with the old chrome grill in favour of this.
not sure what it will look like when fitted back on truck:nenau

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnice :D look a bit like scowling eyes to me :sly
Try it out on a hot day to make sure you don't get any over heating though !

was gonna put 1/2 inch mesh behind there but this was free from work so would be rude not to try it:lol:lol

Surely it will be ok if we are talking air intake?

Or are you talking engine temp?

Perhaps a lower scoop could be fabricated?

Seriously restricted airflow there compared to the original
Have found some inch square mesh in the scrap bin at work which I think I will use instead.
Just a bit harder to cut and shape than this stuff.
Might even get a mark II grill but not sure if the head light shape is the same where the grill fits.

There is a big scoop just under the bumper but remember that all those little holes will not let any wind through. Davey Lamp and all that :thumbs

Does this mean I will have to buy some of that ally grill mesh:eek::lol
Did nip to local car shop but he hadn't got any.could always spray the black plastic I took off and re fit it.
Just throwing ideas around at the moment.

Like I said mate slightest bit of mud would. Log that and you may overheat

Shame, I'm loving the look of this grill. Put here must be a good answer, change the mesh only?

that's the forward mate:thumb2
just like the look of the fine mesh but has got to be functional.
saying that I fitted the grill back on last night and not sure if I like the look of it now:lol:lol

answers on a post card please:nenau

It don't look right, maybe the colour or something, but it's just not right on the eye.
You did ask :)

Colour is mismatch, use a neutral colour either bumper colour or black :thumb2

It just don't look like it belongs there  In my opinion it looks like something of a low down sports car. :(

Well I like it but I think a slightly more open mesh would look better & it would also up the air flow to the rad. Been thinking of alloy meshing my front grill for a while yet as it'll also debadge the grill:thumb2

the more I look at it the more I don't like it:lol
think it would look better the same colour as the bumper.
thing is the code for the trim is not listed as a Nissan colour:nenau
k115 is stamped on the plate and Nissan only use 3 digits in their code.
to me it looks yellowish gold.
will nip to refinishing supplies place and get him to match it for me.

Before you change it again.take a look at it with out the gay deflector:D.
As it looks as if the grill doesn't match the colour of your bonnet.
Take the gayness off and it may look a better match.

but I like my gay deflector:lol:lol
could always paint that blue then all the front will match.

done away with the gay and fitted some bigger mesh in the grill.
colour still looks a shade out but it was matched to the code.

still not sure if I like it though:nenau:lol:lol
