I really like the look of these, a little more road biased than the previous special track, but still very agressive

Not as much side claw as far as I can see, but good price for a new tyre :thumb2
Now do they do a 33 ? :sly

Probably a little less road noise, The side lugs are bigger on the other special tracks compared to my fedimas. Although mine measure about 34".

Look good, but if road noise is similar you might aswell use the older type.

It's probably a little quieter without the side lugs.
What price were your Fedimas Fez?

i saw some of these the other week, they dont look like a bad tyre, no where near as agressive as the old one and according to the tyre bloke selling them they have been designed to be more road biased also they aint a remould they are a 100% new tyre

I bought mine as a package with rims from above (tyres direct)

you can get them from the same place as above for £130 each. Apparently to remold them they use truck tyres so the sidewalls are crazy strong and thick.

i had some insa muds and i wasn't impressed the sidewalls damaged easily and they seemed to deteriorate in the sun quickly!

After doing some research i bought 'Malatesta' remould fron tyres direct, a bit cheaper, a better reptation, they lso have a better load and speed rating!

I have done around 7k miles on them and they still look like new, i am very pleased! :thumb2

have a look here:

I have isna turbo sahara's but unlike plank's mine live in the trailer most o the time & only get used goin to sites & back maybe a bit of road if i can't b bothered to take them off right away ......but then they eat fuel.....so trailer bound they go again :sly no complaints so far tho & they take a bashing when off road... :thumb2

i would check that! as Insa claim only to make remoulds on their home page! so i would bet these are remoulds! though i have nothing against good remoulds :thumb2

reading back at my post it's confusing for info purposes I use fedima sirrocco tyres and not special tracks.

Which are highly rated up there with the simex tyres for their sidewall strength, size and rubber quality.

yes, good rim protector on the malatesta tyres, and 9though this may mean nothing) I noticed they all looked the same on the inside of the tyre, all the patterns running the same way. The insa tyres i had were all different on the inside :nenau

anyway, Stinka's ebay link - that is just down the road me, so I could always go and look :thumb2

Every web site and link i follow suggests that these are remold tyres despite the ebay seller saying they aren't. Even Insa's own site says they only make remolds! :nenau
