Im thinking of changing the springs on my Trol as mine are the originals and think they have seen better days, plus with the weight of storage drawers and towing my little tintent:augie, the arse end tends to sit a tad lower than i would like.
The questions i have are:- 1) Do i replace like for like but heavy duty rears, or change for +2":naughty?
2) Where in the uk can i get +2" springs as doing tinternet searches they all seem to be from Oz
Thanx in advance :bow

Cheers ive checked out Pedders and seem to be reasonable on price aswell. Still cant decide on standard or +2". Does anyone tow a tintent with taller springs on their vehicle?

if you're not going to lift the front, why lift the back :nenau

can you get a 1 inch lift and achieve both things at the same time :nenau

I tow my boats around with the troll and that's 2" + 2"
You can get 1" coils or even std and spacers etc :thumbs

Where can I get stiffer torsion bars in the uk ?

I think milner do them but why the hell would you want stiffer ones
You'll be bouncin' around like bloody Zebedee :lol

Too soft, bottoms out on front far to easily !

And as for bouncing, the dampers will damp the bounce duh

I think bottoming out on the front might be a LWB thing. I have noticed it more on my LWB than on any of my previous SWB. :nenau

Put a 2" ironman lift on mine from westcoast, I've got to say its total transformed the car (93 safari lwb td42) for normal road driving and pulling. Pedders have also recently started selling adjustable drag links for the y60 so the stearing can be corrected too!

Well my nice shiney new rear shocks arrived today, but wont get to fit them till after the weekend cus going away in tintent. Ive purchased Pedders trackryder shocks and hope to get the front one's when funds allow:).

Ill be replacing the springs next year due to funds but will get them from pedders so it all matches. I have to say that their service is excellent, i told them what i wanted and they advised the best options for me plus the shocks were delivered next day at a good postage rate.:clap

I tried getting my suspension lift from Westcoast, but was thwarted with awful communication issues and then they never had stock  They also Fedima tyres, which I was trying to buy as well, that never came off either
Pedders were on the case quicksharp :D
Adjustable drag link is dead easy to do yourself, or I can do them for you and rose jointed ends too :thumbs

Sounds like they don't want your money pete, You didn't raid the monopoly box again? :lol

I spent about 700 quid I think with Pedders and 500 on s/h tyres.I was up for about 1500 with westcoast but they couldn't get the goods or answer the phone

Not good, Good to give your money to people who take the time and work for it. Especially these days :thumbs

Phoned west coast about the foam cell shocks, she didn't even know what I was on about and said they only do iron man nitro shocks :doh
