New CD Player in 98 Terrano will it rattle about???

Hi all,

Thinking of fitting a different head unit into my SWB 98 Terrano as the LCD display has gone in the original unit, my question is if I just remove the old unit (which has the 4 screws to keep it in tight) and put a new unit in just with a cage will it bounce/rattle about???

Also anyone know for certain the ISO adaptor code needed.

I had an older Primera with the same size hole and same fittings as the T2, the cage fitted fine but then again the Primera didn't go off road either. I think it shoul'd be fine as the cages usually have plenty of tabs to bend that will hold the cage in place.

I have replaced mine & have never had any probs even off road :smile: Once you remove the factory head unit You then fit the cage to the console panel & bend over the locking tabs on the cage which will keep it nice & tight :wink:

Just didn't want it to bouncy around but sounds like it should be fine, all I have to do now is get the right ISO lead.
