Today I have been mainly fitting new ball joints, top and bottom.:D
Today I have also been fitting new lower arm rear chassis bushes, ouch:eek:
Today I have been mainly realising how crap the front of my truck WAS:lol
The old bushes were shot I knew that but what I didn't realise was that they were originally held in place with some crappy pressed tin:(. These had completely disintegrated and so the bottom arm was slowly working it's way UP the chassis, making a nice egg shaped hole:doh
Had to make 4 new pressed washer things using my mates scrumy mega million tonne press mmmmmmm:sly Then weld the buggers in:clap
While I was there with bits all over the place I checked the brake calipers too. Sliders my arse:doh welded with rust me thinks:( Stripped them down and rebuilt with copper grease and new bellows:rolleyes: Brakes are quite good now, I'll be rethinking my brake upgrade now:D
Took the beast for a spin tonight and it's like driving a gokart:thumbs
Brill, so check your balls guys , you dont know what you're missin':naughty

i fitted my "new" lights.. 100w driving lights

Has that sorted out ya camber issue  :lol

Should have the KL71's on for next week when i come down :D :naughty :sly

Will find out in the morning. I think so as the front is now miles too high:augie
Now all the slop is out of the system I should be able to get it right:cool:
