Could someone do me a favour and take a pic of the front pipe connecting to the manifold.
I had a new exhaust fitted last week and there seems to be an excessive gap on that joint, I supplied the exhaust and the garage complained there was no gasket for the front pipe and had to butcher something to fit, I was under the impression it should have just been fitted with exhaust cement and bolted up?
I have to take it back Friday for them to check it as it's blowing and I need some facts/pics to show them so I don't get fobbed off with them saying its a crap exhaust and doesn't fit and that's the best they can do! There is probably a gap of around 1cm all the way around.

if there is a gap it should only be a couple of mm at the most, the pipe has two spigots that should have metal compressible gaskets on them that register with the recesses in the manifold, no paste is usually needed, Rick

mine has tons of paste around the joint from turbo outlet/exhaust pipe... was like it when I got it and will sort it out when needed..looks like mine has had a new front pipe :nenau

Mine has a matalised gasket of about 2-3mm thickness

Hope this helps
