hi guys my friend needs a auto freewheel hub brake rings r fine just lugs on hub that retain brake ring have broken dont ask how think heavy right foot before it engauges how much for 1 auto hub and postage to devon thanks in advance

the lugs that hold the brake ring are only to make it easy to put the hub on they do nothing for the auto hub operation, they break cos the internals are under lubricated, to sort this you have to remove the multi coil spring circlip and remove dog clutch assembly, grease it and put it back together, you only need to get the brake ring to stay in place till the hub is on the motor, after that the brake ring is held in place by the fixed brake part on the hub, but if you really wont a replacement I have several as now I have a Lokka I do not need the autos, Rick
will get him to break the other lug off as thinks its twisting and binding up if it wont work how much for 1 auto hub and rough price for postage thanks again for answering so quickly rick ur a star:thumb2

I will weigh one and ask at Post office tomorrow you can have the hub for £15 Rick
Thanks for the offer of the hub rick all fixed now just removed the other lug thanks for the info earlier and again thanks for the offer of the hub (very good value) but all done :thumbs
