Navara dash change

Thanks for replied to my recent Terrano issue, now sorted. Next project is to assist my mate with his two Navaras. he has an 06 Aventura and an 07 Aventura. The 06 has a sexy Sat Nav built in and we want to change all (or part) of that dash to swap sat Navs. What I'm looking for is whether this is straight forward/impossible/whether the GPS will be hidden somewhere silly like the roof.
