HI HEARD TODAY OF A NAVARA BEING TAKEN IN FOR SERVICE .
CHASSIS WAS FOUND TO HAVE A SERIOUS CRACK .DONT KNOW WHERE
BUT THEY HAVE INSTRUCTED ALL THERE NAVARA DRIVERS TO GET TRUCKS STRAIGHT IN TO HAVE CHASSIS INSPECTED.

THESE ARE ALL USED VERY HARD CARRYING A LOT OF WEIGHT

I WILL TRY AND FIND OUT MORE DETAILS.

i put winch bumper on mine and state welding underneath and on chasis was pidgeon poo style not suprised there cracking if quality is same all over.
if you see list of what navaras been recalled for you wouldnt spend £20+k on new one!

You would think a 20K+ motor would be welded properly & would be able to carry the loads. I mean in the middle east hilux's are fitted with big guns & rocket launchers

Some of you may hate me for this  But I do think nissan'a build quality is going down hill which I think is a shame.
Looks like my wife is going to have to wait for a navara as it would have to carry a large gun on the back, as the estaite can be a bit of a war zone at times    Another reason to have a T2 you can run the chavs down better

i wouldnt buy a uk one the 2.5td engine not upto job shouldve stuck with good ol 2.7 ! think there built in thailand and romania now aparently now nissan answer to reno quality rock bottom never had a reno but people seem to speak highly of them so dont follow that theory!

If you don't mind me asking where did you find yours ? It's just Diane loves the look of the Navara & hopefully i'll be able to get back to work in a year or so & start saving up for one  I'm keeping my T2 8)

ebay but rang guy up (as i always do they aint making any more outve me than i have to) to ask few questions it was on its second trip round now with 12mth mot and 6 tax and about £2k cheaper he wanted £7000 i said £5500 we agreed at £6750 lol coz i was drooling over it! it will eat a 2.7tdi on aceleration top end only around 105 so about 5-10 mph slower the usual 3litre we get over here are the frontier model from aus i think this one badged ventura and from new zealand there all same engine 3.0 16v returning 30-35 driven quite hard (u cant help it it has to be sideways round islands even in dry with noblys!) my mate has a mitsibishi lpoo hundred double cab he couldnt believe the power difference!. if i wanted to leave the plate i coud have had for about £6k i couldnt be arsed with waiting for new paperwork i wanted the truck as in yesterday lol plates pretty pants k11 khk i call it klu klux klan should be a 52 plate a 53 plate with 153k on clock just sold on ebay for about £4650 mines dones about 55,000k now

That sounds realy good jace, cheers for that. I've seen Navara's about the same age on forcourts for 10K+

aparently theres a slump in sales on ebay no silly bids going on bargains to be had ill always try to do deal off ebay imagine his fees on £7k bid plus any paypal charges for deposit. i was lucky with this one came with alarm and imobiliser snug top just had rear brake overhaul (seized on as he wasnt using truck!) he paid £500 for towbar to be fitted to tow little trailer to tip! think he had more money than sence was selling his tvr for £16k with nice tvr plate!

Think you are right more money than sence  TVR g/box heats up & burns your hand on the g/stick 8O If it's been in the sun you can't fit the hard top until the shell has cooled down 8O Yep more money than sence
