My tailgate wiper has started to operate contiuously and will not switch off. I have stopped it by removing the relay.Is it likely to be the relay which is at fault? The switch has no effect.

i remember my first TD doing that, i took the fuse out and forgot about it, it will be interesting to see the right way to do it! :thumb2

yes mine is a 94 td Maverick - perhaps a common fault?

mine was an 'N' but i can't remember the year, 95?

As with the front wiper, there is a park feature that is controlled by a live 12 volt feed via an internal switch in the motor. It could be that the switch inside the motor is faulty.
