yep its is fun, though i am getting to the age that i no longer crave the pure speed. this is my 2nd one i had a japenese import auto twin turbo before this and this one is a uk spec twin turbo manual.

blummin expensive to keep and tune though, spent 3k in the last 2 years on it, and its worth less than that to sell.

and not everyone wants that power at the back. for me its where i want it :bow:bow:bow:bow

sorry dont mean to have a go but the skyline GTS isnt a patch on the 300zx. I know i have driven them in stock form and midly tuned. TBH i have been is a 600bhp gts and that was just friggin mad but the stock one suffers from the fact that stock is 250bhp and if you go over 300 on stock turbo the propeller shaft disintergrates. the 300zx looks better imho and can easily get 360bhp with a few minor mods (ignore any ebay ad claiming over 400bhp on stock turbos as it isnt possible). yes the skyline GTR is nuts but they just arnt cheap enough for me to buy.

i guess you mean the water pipes feeding the heater matrix? i have had to replace the on both of my cars and luckily i'm a skinny git so can reach down and do them. Ithe car in the pic has had the engine out and all the rubber water and air hoses replaced as a precaution. yes all the power thru the back wheels can be more scare than fun and tbh i do think off roading my maverick is as fun and safer than ranting the living hell out of a sports car

Totally agree,i was coming from the running costs side of things :doh ;)
Had 1 32GTR which i should never of sold & 2 33GTS's,1 standard & 1 running about 370 ish.
Me Scooby has been my best all rounder till i went over the top with bhp & touque...:doh Way to expensive to run :doh £70 = 125 miles tops  :doh

Now i gotta Mav :lol :lol :lol

Alot cheaper to run & more fun to be had though :thumbs :bow

No more worrying about where to park, speedramps, speed cameras, weather etc, etc, etc :lol :lol :lol

dont talk to me about speed ramps you can see in the pic the state of the lower part of my bumper. the r32 GTR is the king of Nissans in my opinion i love them. not a fan of scoobys as the fuel consumption is worse than my zed and i know so many that the bottom end has gone bang

and the fact you can only drive them in the day. cos the poxy birthday cake candles they have for lights makes night driving ... the best thrill ever.

yes a safer kind of fun but still gets the heart pumping, going through a lake or rock climbs . i prefer the 4x4 now

lol yeh the headlights are really really poor, did buy a hid conversion for it but then had to sell as i needed a clutch lol. so i stick to roads with street lights now.

ohh i did buy this for a bit for off roading but at the mot it was given its last rites, so my off roading has turned back to the maverick which i nicked back off the wife when she nicked it off me in the first place (gave her a micra to shut her up lol)

i ordered the twin light conversion and the Ferrari type tub for the rear window replacement . but the engine blew:nenau:nenau:nenau

god i loved that car:(

My 32 was 100% standard & origional in dark matalic grey back in 2002...How much would that be worth now

Me Scooby was a 95 Type RA,so it was a better block with tha added diff controler :sly
Spent a fortune on that beast :naughty 280bhp 282tqlbft When i imported it & standard. 2 years after that i'd got it upto 395bhp 475tqlbft
Needless to say, tyres & clutchs lasted weeks not months
But i'd built it for sprints,1/4 miles & track days :doh
Couldnt afford to run it in the end, last track day i done was the Colin McCrea Memorial at Bambury & it cost me £800 + for 4 road leagal track day tyres, discs & pads.
Sold it the weekend after to 1 of the engineers up there...
At least its gone to a good home :)

the lightweight RA,good choice. i had a bit of a rumble with one (my mates so it was all in jest) off the roundabout it just wiped the floor with my ZX but luckily the straight bits were long enough for me to reel him back in.
