well i finally got round to paying me tenner so i can post properly now, hello all just thought id share my new ownership with you all.

since getting the terrano early in december iv replaced the thermo stat it was nackerd when i got the car, last week the centre exhaust bracket split changed that and this week the water pump let go oh and today a hid kit fitted to improve those crap head lights to be honest all small and simple jobs its gonna get a full service next week just to be sure its due around now so time to get it done.

its in reasonable condition for a 12 year old car and nothing i wasnt expecting i knew it needed a few things doing to it with only a little over 100 tho on its hardly worn in and running well i managed to pick up a parcel shelf off fleabay the other week proberly bidding against some one on here after reading some posts :lol:lol im not intending on off roading been there seen it done it many years ago in our old patrol its going to be a well used family car and this is a great place for info and nice people.

next job after the sevice will be some welding on the off side rear wheel arch hopefully in the summer if nothing else breaks before then and some bigger tyres at the next tyre change if i can be of any help to any one close by im good with a spanner and happy to help

dave

lwb

its a lwb need the extra seats had my guy service, its all good im to busy to do it my self he is doing the rear half shaft seals next week as there weeping a bit gonna have him replace the brake cylinders and shoes at the same time hopefully thats it for now iv got a few mods in mind just to improve things a little.

exhaust is one of them im thinking looseing the front box to help the turbo spool better and maybe go to 3 inch pipe iv fitted hids the standard lights are just to crap yes yes i know whats been said on here about are they legal or not  and iv seen some nice grooved and drilled discs on fleabay mite be tempted there are there any club members here in the south east that can help with the exhaust ? if not il get it made up by a guy near me

If you're going to do a 3" exhaust get the turbo downpipe done too:sly The std one is proper poo:dohIt'll be a shame to choke a nice system with a pokey downpipe:thumbs
Why not get your guy to template the system he does for you and then he can sell other systems to more owners on line:cool:

to long await

well spoke to my guy he is more than happy to do a new system for me but he has a 2 months minimum waiting list :doh not that im in a rush but im not waiting over 2 months for him to make a system and he wants the car for 3 days while he is doing it to :(

so i will proberly just replace the front box with a straight threw pipe and fit a new rear box gonna go and have a lok around milners site and see what they have
