Have you found anyone to talk to yet?

I've had a CB in my truck for a few weeks now and only spoke to one guy just after I fitted it. What a waste of money, I knew it would not as busy as the 70s/80s, but FFS, there is NO ONE on around here :doh

ah but your're forgetting the point, yes i have spoken to someone ten miles away in amesbury, but i hear more forign channels coming through in the weather conditions than english, however, i fitted it for one reason, to TALK TO THE TRUCK IN FRONT AND BEHIND when out off roading :lol:lol:thumbs

seriously the only peeps on these things are us off roaders, and truckers. site workers use uhf or pmr.

but go off roading with a few buds, and you'll see the benefits of having it :clap:clap:clap

Nice neat fit, you are of course right hugely useful for off roading. Also you can keep it on low power for such short distances which will keep the rig cooler, not use as much juice and also if your aerial goes out of tune less likely to cause problems.
