and no sign of and part of the new exhaust hitting anything took me 3 days to do

Cracking job :thumb2

im looking to change my system for a stainless but some sort of side exit little stubby pipe :lol

can already here my wastegate flutter might be a bit much with a short pipe though :augie

Any vid of how it sounds??

My bro had one made up, he took the old bendy pipes to the stainless supplier and they bent the stainless on a bendy pipe machine to match the old. IRRC Only needed welding in 3 spots, Looked great when he'd done, saved a fortune

dont tink u can do that on the t2 as standard exhaust is 2" and if i follow old exhaust flexi would hit front prop and at the back over the rear axle would of hit the fuel tank only started learning mig last july done gas welding before and a very small bit of arc welding

it was dark and recorded on my mobile

nice work and as stinka said your shocks appear to be upside down

I like that, have you got a schematic or diagram of the system? As I've wanted one for ages

u really have to do it on car as if it was alittle out then it would hit body or gearbox, rear axle, fuel tank the list goes on i just had a selection of bends in a box which i bought from makeitfit and eveytime i welded abit more had to go through the box selecting the best bend for the time but it only cost me £95:D

Ah ha well done indeed , I like :D
Glad you managed to find the right bends in the box. It's a bit like a jigsaw with no pic :lol
Mine comes out the side now, but then I've got a body lift and so there's just enough room.
I'll vid that at the weekend too if I remember.
Did you use stainlees wire or ordinary by the way?

I had a 0.7kg of stainless steel wire was going well then ran out near transfer box could not be bothered to go out and buy more so rest is done in mild steel mig wire dads been welding for 50 odd years and has not had any problems when using mild steel on stainless steel

Yeh I was aware that s/s could be welded with mild steel wire :thumb2 I was just curious, but where did you get the 0.7 wire from and how much. I've only found it for bonkers money or it's to big a gauge?
