My Hidden winch brackets

Been looking at afns hidden kit and came up with my own made from 10mm angle steel. Mounted the same as afn kit but welded on. I've ordered a proper winch plate from eBay so will get theses tidied up. Then save for the winch. Number plate maybe relocated yet




And one just coz I like it lol

You thought about sticking a couple bolts to the chassis rails in as well? (Probably overkill but I know my winch bumper bolts onto the chassis at 6 different points :nenau)

can get the winch tray fabricated at work,just need to save up for a winch.

I do like the hidden winches for light/meduim offroaders but remember if you have to do a side pull it will crumple and possibly damage your bumper

:thumb2 good point.could always make the tray slightly deeper than the afn one so the winch sits further forward and gives a bit more clearance on the bumper.
